Inventory Check
The VSA Suite’s Inventory Check application allows callers to check the availability of a particular item. The application collects catalogue or product numbers from callers, checks the item’s availability in the database, and plays back a message telling callers whether the item is in stock or not. If the item is not in stock, further options are available to advise the customer the expected availability date, whether or not an item can be reserved, or whether a product has been discontinued. If the product is in stock, and the caller wishes
to place an order, the call is transferred to a call center agent.
