IDVS
The VSA Suite’s Identification and Verification with Status (IDVS) application allows customers to accurately identify and verify their callers. The application has four distinct phases. Primary Identification captures a unique piece of information from the caller.
If additional clarification is required, Secondary identification can be requested.
Having identified the caller, IDVS then asks a final question to verify that the caller is who they claim to be. If the caller provides the correct response, they are routed through to
the next stage of the call flow. There is a further option for IDVS to read back a Status,
which might be, for example, an account balance.
