Fluency Voice Receives Gvalidated Designation from Genesys
London, UK – February 17, 2008 – Fluency Voice Technology, (www.fluencyvoice.com) the packaged speech recognition solutions company, announced that its Virtual Speech Agent ™ suite has been validated through the Gvalidated Application Integration Program by Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. an Alcatel-Lucent company (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU).
To achieve this designation, a company must be accepted into the Genesys validation initiative and have successfully developed and deployed their integration according to Genesys design standards. Gvalidated is the highest status for a non-Genesys developed integration.
Fluency’s speech recognition solutions are used by call centers globally to improve customer service and significantly reduce costs. These call centers come to Fluency because of the unique way it packages and provides its speech solutions, which ensures a rapid, inexpensive, trouble-free rollout. Fluency’s configurable speech recognition solutions are delivered via the VSA™ Suite. VSA provides a range of applications which can be deployed individually or collectively to automate call center workflows. Each VSA deployment is fully configurable, allowing customers to make changes in response to business needs.
The Gvalidated designation helps customers identify applications that have met a stringent set of integration validation requirements. Only applications that carry the Gvalidated logo can claim that the integration has been developed according to Genesys-approved methods and standards, is documented through Genesys standards and methodology and has been successfully tested in a lab environment.
“With the Gvalidated designation, our integration partners have a way to differentiate their integration and work more closely with Genesys to provide high quality solutions for our joint customers,” said Robert Koen, Director of Channel Marketing for Genesys.
Validation is highly selective. Successful validation requires that the application developer:
- Complete integration development as outlined in Genesys documentation.
- Provided a whitepaper which documents the application and outlines recommended implementation methods.
- Complete a stringent technical validation process administered by the Genesys Gvalidated team and Professional Services groups.
- Complete training on Genesys products in order to sell, support and deploy the Genesys products to which they have integrated.
- Has a working lab system that can be used to diagnose issues, duplicate problems, and troubleshoot issues and to provide the first line of support for customers.
- Provided personnel to support the Genesys partnership.
“Thanks to our Gvalidated status, joint customers can select Fluency VSA in the confident knowledge that it has been assessed by Genesys and met a stringent set of validation requirements.” added Philip Padfield, Fluency’s CEO. “This certification consolidates our partnership with Genesys and furthers our commitment to interoperate with the Genesys IVR platform thereby extending Fluency VSA’s reach to current and future Genesys customers.” The Gvalidated designation is valid for only two years. In addition, each application must re-certify if changes or enhancements are made. To learn more about the Gvalidated program, visit www.genesyslab.com/partners.
