Fluency Expands Market Share With Continued Growth and Year on Year Revenue Increases

London, UK - March 2nd, 2006 – Fluency Voice Technology, (www.fluencyvoice.com) the speech recognition company, today announced continued growth for the quarter ended December 31st, 2005 with sequential growth of 24 percent, and year-on-year growth of 21 percent over the third quarter of 2004. Fluency continues to increase ownership of the speech marketplace through careful organic growth in markets including Financial Services, Retail, Utilities, Transport, Travel and Public Sector.
Fluency confirmed a number of new clients in Q3 including an internationally recognised hotel and accommodation brand and Bournemouth & West Hampshire Water. Following the successful and much publicised launch of Fluency Virtual Speech Agent (VSA) Suite™, the team also welcomed its first VSA customer, Outright, a personal lines insurance broker, to its enviable list of customers.
Existing customers continued to invest in Fluency’s speech recognition applications, most notably Capita TV Licensing and Lloyds TSB Registrars, repeat business was also secured from Standard Life Bank and JD Williams. These new and repeat business contracts are another example of how the market is driving Fluency’s leading position as the vendor of choice for speech recognition applications and new customers join an existing base of clients including Standard Life, EDF Energy, Sutton & East Surrey Water, Barclays, Powergen, Carlson Leisure Travel, The Woolwich, Energis and Freeview.

Fluency finished off the quarter with the news that Sutton and East Surrey Water Services, a prominent and highly referenceable Fluency customer, was awarded the Best CIS Initiative in Europe for 2005/2006 in the Utility Awards for CIS/CRM Excellence competition organised by the Utility Planning Network. This award is testament to the Sutton & East Surrey Water customer services team who have applied a speech enabled voice recognition solution from Fluency integrated into its corporate billing system, provided by DST International, to deliver this award winning Customer Information System and its success has been recognised by industry peers globally.
